Hazel park ucc choir

The Hazel Park UCC Choir is currently only singing for special services such as Easter and Christmas. We would love to see our choir grow! If you are interested please contact the church office at (651) 735-2555.

The director, Dr. Asako Hirabayashi is an accomplished international soloist and award winning composer, has won numerous grants and awards including the 2009-2010 McKnight Fellowship for Performing Musicians, Minnesota State Arts Board’s 2012 and 2014 Artist Initiative Grant as a soloist and as a composer, 2012 Jerome Fund for New Music by the American Composers' Forum to write an opera. She also has extensive experiences producing a variety of projects from typical early music repertoire to, Jazz, Latin and contemporary music, including her own compositions and multidisciplinary projects such as concert opera, collaboration with professional award winning dancers and children’s dance groups.
